Jamie Hillman is a multi-faceted musician who is active as a singer, pianist, conductor, music educator, and composer. He currently serves as an assistant professor of music at Gordon College in Wenham, MA, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate music education and directs the Gordon College Choir and Men's Choir. As a Boston University Prison Arts Scholar and faculty member of BU's Metropolitan College/Prison Education Program, he has co-initiated a comprehensive choral music program at a large, medium-high security men's prison in Massachusetts.
Dr. Hillman's work with developing voices includes serving as Interim Chorus Teacher at Beaver Country Day School, associate conductor of the Worcester Children's Chorus, co-director of the Grace Chapel Children's Choir, and guest conductor of the Providence Singers Young Men's Choir Festival (2014).
Hillman's recent engagements as a tenor soloist include Messiah with the Clark University Chorus & Orchestra and the Laudate Dominum Choir & Orchestra, Dett’s The Chariot Jubilee with the Nathaniel Dett Chorale and Windsor Classic Chorale, Saint-Säens’ Christmas Oratorio with the Rosebud Masterworks Choir, and Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass with the Studio Cantorum Choir & Orchestra (Indonesia). As a pianist, Dr. Hillman has shared the stage with numerous choirs including the Boston Children’s Chorus, Rhode Island Children’s Chorus, and the Massachusetts All State Treble Chorus. His choral compositions have been performed in Asia, Europe, and North America by ensembles including the Amadeus Choir of Greater Toronto, Boston Children's Chorus, Calgary Girls Choir, Cantabile Choirs of Kingston, Oakville Children’s Choir, Worcester Children's Chorus, and numerous other school, church, and community choirs. His popular Christmas carol, Who Would Have Thought, is published by Cypress Choral Music.
Dr. Hillman is an examiner for Conservatory Canada and has adjudicated at festivals and presented at conferences in Canada, the United States, and Southeast Asia. His co-editorial work includes numerous editions of Arabic, Asian, Latin American, and Western choral pieces published by Earthsongs and Hinshaw Music. He holds an associate diploma (ARCT) from the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), and degrees from the University of Western Ontario, University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, and Boston University. Dr. Hillman is the 2012 laureate of the Leslie Bell Prize for Choral Conducting from the Ontario Arts Council.
Hillman lives in Boston with his wife, Mi-Mi, and son, Maxwell.

As a conductor, Susan Wharton Conkling has been praised for sensitive and expressive performances at conferences of the American Choral Directors Association, American Orff-Schulwerk Association, and MENC: National Association for Music Education. She is known as an advocate for Women’s Choirs and contemporary women composers, and she has conducted honor choir and All-State performances throughout the United States. As a teacher and scholar, Conkling has been a leading voice in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in the field of music, beginning with a Carnegie Fellowship in 1999.
Conkling also is well-known for her efforts to construct professional development partnerships between public schools and collegiate schools of music. She has served the profession as a board member of the American Choral Directors Association, the College Music Society, and the International Society for Music Education’s Commission on the Education of the Professional Musician. Conkling currently serves the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) as National Chair of the Society for Music Teacher Education, and she is proud to be affiliated with the Boston Children’s Chorus as a member of its Board of Directors.

Terry White has been a music educator, composer, arranger and band leader in the Portland, Maine area for over 34 years. Terry is a 1975 graduate of Berklee College of Music with a BM in Composition and a 1979 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a M.S. in Music Education. He has studied composition with John Bavicchi, Hugo Norden and Herb Pomeroy. His professional performing career began with the Don Doane Big Band while still in high school and continued as trumpet player and arranger/composer with the band until 1984. Terry continued with his own big band for many years, releasing a CD entitled This Note’s For You and presently writes for the Portland Jazz Orchestra.
Terry has performed with Al Hirt, Rich Little, Pat & Debbie Boone, John Davidson, Tom Jones, Jerry Vale, Bobby Rydell, Bob Hope, The Ice Capades, Ringling Bros. Circus, Mount Washington Hotel Orchestra, The New York Voices, Wayne Bergeron, and Kris Berg. Terry has written for many idioms including the Portland Symphony Orchestra, marching band, jazz ensemble, and concert band. His music has been performed at the MidWest Clinic in Chicago. As an educator, Terry has taught instrumental music in Maine for 34 years, having taught at all levels from beginning band to college jazz ensembles. He is presently retired from teaching, concluding his career as the middle school band director at Cape Elizabeth Middle School in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

Jill Noerenberg is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with B. M. and M. M in clarinet performance and a certification in education. Ms. Noerenberg has been a band director for the Duxbury Public Schools for the past 19 years. In addition to keeping a private clarinet studio, she travels between two Duxbury schools. At the middle school she works with the three 7th and 8th grade bands. At the high school she works with the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble.
Ms. Noerenberg’s groups have performed at many esteemed venues. She conducted the Duxbury High School Wind Ensemble and Middle School Band at the Massachusetts Music Educators’ Convention Concert Hour on several occasions. Her ensembles have performed at MICCA festivals, where they received Gold medals. They have also performed at Symphony Hall and at Carnegie Hall in the National Band and Orchestra Festival in 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014. In 2003, she conducted the Wind Ensemble at the MENC All-Eastern Conference in Providence, Rhode Island. Last year, her middle school Silver Band performed at the Eastern Division Conference in Hartford, Connecticut.
Ms. Noerenberg has been the Adjudication Chairperson for the Massachusetts Music Educators Southeastern District for the past ten years. She has been the Senior Band, Junior Orchestra and Junior Jazz Band manager for several Southeastern district ensembles. She was the MMEA All State Assistant Band Manager and Band Manager from 2012-2014. She has conducted the Massachusetts Northeast, Southeastern, Eastern, and Western Junior District Bands. She also conducted the Rhode Island All State Symphonic Band and the New Hampshire Middle School Honors Band. She directed the Festival Wind Ensemble for the South Shore Conservatory Summer Music Festival in 2009. Jill recently received the Lowell Mason award from the MMEA.

Daniel Keller holds a Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Wisconsin, a Masters in Music Education and a Certificate of Advanced Study from University of Maine. In June, he will retire from 38 years of teaching. Dan has served as the String Specialist for the Waterville Public Schools. He also served as the Visual and Performing Arts Department Chair and Music Curriculum Coordinator for Music K-12. Dan has been a conductor for the Bangor Symphony Youth Orchestra, Portland Junior Youth Orchestra and the Maine Summer Music Orchestra. He is currently conducting the Mid-Maine Youth Orchestra and Southern Maine String Camp. He has toured with the University of Maine Orchestra in Spain and has served as principal violist for the Colby Symphony Orchestra. He has played in numerous ensembles in Maine as a violist, pit orchestra conductor and guest conducted at numerous district and state-wide festivals.
