Percussion Technique  Video Series
Below you will find a series of percussion technique videos created by Jim Felker, Bedford High School and Nick Gleason, Contemporary Percussion Specialist, sponsored by the Northeastern District. We would like to thank them both for sharing their expertise with the Northeastern District.

This video series targets middle school percussion students or the non-percussionist band director.  These videos give instruction on five (5) basic auxiliary percussion instruments: triangle, tambourine, crash cymbals, bass drum, claves and a word about trap table use. It is our hope that students will use these techniques to prepare for district festival auditions and improve their overall technique to be active participating members of their school ensembles.  We hope you find these a valuable resource.
